As a SUN SAFE beachwear brand, Maya was conceived and designed for those who love the sea, nature, and don't compromise on comfort.
Our collections, made with eco-friendly UPF 50 fabric, offer maximum protection and perfect designs for those who want to get in the water and make the most of what nature has to offer.
Caring for the planet is a concern for the brand throughout its entire production chain.
Made with biodegradable polyamide yarns, unlike common fibers that take decades to decompose, Maya products, when discarded in landfills, decompose in less than 3 years, reducing environmental impact and ensuring a better world for future generations.
In the innovative technology of AMNI Soul Eco® fabric, care for the planet is present in the reuse of water used in its manufacturing process, and in the emission of greenhouse gases, which are treated before being released into the environment, preserving the ozone layer and nature.

WHO MAKES MAYA HAPPEN?
Passionate about the beach, sun, and water sports, MAYA was born to solve the difficulty that businesswoman Ana Galante had in finding cool clothing for sailing and rowing that combined comfort, protection, and style. After two years of the brand, Ana invited her friend Daniel Aratangy, a photographer who is also passionate about the sea, to bring his perspective.
Ana Galante - Kitesurfer, businesswoman, Pisces, sees poetry in everything, contemplates the sun, the moon and the sea.
Daniel Aratangy - SUP paddler, mountaineer, sailor, and photographer who loves adventure.
